Vegan Banana & Coconut Puffs – A Tropical Treat for Your Pup!
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, mashed – Naturally sweet and loaded with potassium, bananas add flavor and nutrition.
- 1 /2 cup oat flour – Oat flour is gluten-free, high in fiber, and gentle on digestion, making it ideal for sensitive tummies.
- 1 /4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut – Coconut adds a light crunch and healthy fats to keep your dog’s coat shiny and soft.
Instructions
- Preheat the OvenPreheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to keep the puffs from sticking.
- Mash the BananaIn a small bowl, mash the banana until smooth. The smoother, the better for a consistent puff texture.
- Mix IngredientsAdd the oat flour and shredded coconut to the mashed banana. Stir until it forms a sticky dough. If it’s too wet, sprinkle in a little more oat flour to help it firm up.
- Shape into Small BallsScoop out small spoonfuls of dough, roll them into balls, and place on the baking sheet. These won’t spread much, so you can place them close together.
- BakeBake the puffs for 12-15 minutes or until they’re golden on the outside and slightly firm. For a crispier texture, leave them in the oven to cool with the heat turned off.
- Cool CompletelyLet the puffs cool fully before giving them to your dog. You might get a few excited sniffs while they wait!
